The Chattanooga Choo Choo is an historic landmark on the outskirts of downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee, which is in the midst of an extensive, 8-million-dollar renovation that will be finished this Fall.

It features a 23-acre complex (map is to the right) with restaurants and specialty shops, an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, gardens, a model railroad display and an authentic New Orleans trolley ride that provides a historic tour through the complex. It has a variety of overnight accommodations including the famous Victorian Era train cars (the train car sleeping rooms are not offered at the conference discount rate).

The SOMA Conference room rate for the hotel will be $112/night plus taxes and fees. This includes:

RESERVATIONS?

The Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel is fully booked for at least some nights for the conference. Several other hotels are also filled, but we have found alternative hotels which still have rooms. These hotels are either on or within a block of the free downtown electric shuttle loop with travel time of 15 minutes or less to the Choo Choo (the main terminal for the electric shuttle is next to the Choo Choo):
